The idea that Lloyd is going to launch SEVEN expensive, multi-national cases is just so far past the point of stupid I wonder if even his dumbest patreons are still fooled by his pantomime performance

Does he want to sue people who are not going to pay him regardless of the judgment or does he want that home on an island he told Andrew Gold he dreamt of getting? Can't have both.

Lloyd is notorious for creating an illusion that they are hurting for money and needing everything to be crowdfunded. On his last trip to Australia a collection was taken up amongst the locals that ended up covering his entire family's trip when you damn well know he could have afforded it.

When a family of four is being flown to the other side of the planet on other people's generosity is the point where activism isn't really activism anymore. It's a front for living a rather comfortable lifestyle, which is why he is so angry and is lashing out with lawsuits.

First, he's describing Kim's warning statement as an "ongoing" and "persistent" campaign

Not trying to make a direct comparison with Lloyd and Jim Jones, but Jones had a similar situation when his volunteer lawyer Tim Stoen defected. He was his right-hand man and knew most of the secrets, especially financial info. Though there were other defectors, Jones saved his vitriol for Stoen. He claimed that he was out to destroy them, similar to Lloyd's claims about Kim Silvio. In his final recorded speech where he gave the order to drink the Kool-Aid, Stoen was mentioned several times as Jones played the victim of his persistent attacks. In the aftermath of Jonestown, investigators found that in the school Jones set up, the students in their grammar classes used Stoen's name repeatedly to describe the misery of the "attacks" on Jonestown.

Lloyd's constant mention of Kim and stirring up his followers in hatred of her is boilerplate cult behaviour. He has to know that she has the evidence all on Whatapp both with him and with his wife. He's a wounded animal and is hoping his followers carry him to the finish line as before.

But it's been over 3 months and this is not going away.

The controversy was for the $150 perk where he was soliciting exit stories, many of whom were CSA survivors. Though he worded it carefully, he was claiming complete editorial control over what the backer wrote, saying at least one sentence would be a direct quote. Some questioned the integrity of soliciting for profit stories from CSA survivors. His response was a snotty "If you don't like it then don't get that perk". So partly due to his attitude and the fact his other book had just been released, it didn't sell well. He only collected $5000+ dollars, whilst he cleared $20,000 USD for the indiegogo campaign for The Reluctant Apostate:

It's all about the money. He loathes activism and especially exJWs. How many times has he reminded us that he's "seriously considering" leaving activism and how exJWs torment him? He said so on the livestream and in several social media posts. He spoke about retiring to an island and writing books on the Gold interview. If you are still a Patron, you are effectively setting him up for retirement.

Leave out the sex worker vacations for a second and reflect on the tweet pasted below. Is giving money to Lloyd Evans a good use for your money you thought was going to fight WT?

Also: Since he was "forced" to put the info about his infidelity into the book, he might as well go about and do it.

You can't make this shit up!

Nobody forced him and he said he put it out there as a full disclosure. Sounds to me that he put it in to soften the blow of a current/future sex scandal.

Cheating on his wife every 2-3 months for 4 years with prostitutes, and holding the threat of "I'll kill myself if you do anything about it" over her? Esp. if, as I get the impression, she maybe lost a brother or other relative that way (?)

I caught that too. Kim directly mentioned Dijana's brother (who had never been spoken about by either of them) killing himself. And Lloyd is now using the same threat because he knows it will trigger her. It seems like whenever she gets closer to the divorce he starts using that card. Despicable and completely deserving of a slap to the face should he show up anywhere.

Lloyd spoke about everything else in his book but never said a thing about her brother's suicide. Was it JW related? I get the impression Dijana was either a born-in or came in at a very young age. To be fair, maybe she asked him not to include it. But at the same time, when has Lloyd ever respected her wishes? He mentioned she didn't want to be mentioned in the livestream but went ahead and did so several times. It's been stated before that she didn't want to appear in his videos, but he kept using Patron requests for her to show up and so she did.

The suicide of her brother which quite possibly was JW related is a huge omission. I'm thinking he only held that card close to his vest because he was using it as a means to control her whenever things got bad. I remember when he was on this forum how he would reveal that he suffered from depression and these adverse comments were driving him toward the brink.

Turns out he was using the same manipulation tactics on his wife. Seriously though, she needs to get him to leave, and failing that take the girls and get out of there. Call his bluff.

Appointing himself “Senior Editor” isn’t even the most egregious example of his self-indulgence. (Being that he started the blog, could there be anymore more senior than him?)

On the JLE Translation Services page, he listed himself as “Director” and his wife as “Lead Translator”. Not only did he barely know any Croatian and was not qualified in any way to translate, it made no sense for him to be a Director and run the business side of things since most documents are from Croatian to English and a good portion of his clientele couldn’t speak to him.

And Grundy had the nerve to post on this site that Lloyd could have been making way more off translation than activism. He proofread her translations and took most of the credit.
